About Kristina

Kristina Schmidt (b. 1995) is a German-Russian artist based in Hamburg, Germany, known for her emotionally charged, expressionist works that merge minimalism with bold, textured elegance. Her art plays with light and shadow, using high-end materials and layered surfaces to create a visual language that feels both playful and refined. With a distinctive style that is instantly recognizable, Kristina’s work offers a unique balance of emotional depth and understated sophistication.

Her story:

From an early age, Kristina displayed a strong passion for art. She took private painting lessons and was already exhibiting her work in Hamburg by the age of twelve. Initially focused on realistic still lifes, her creative journey gradually evolved towards abstraction.

After taking a break during her teenage years, she returned to painting in 2021 with a renewed vision and emotional clarity. Her current work is abstract and intuitive, inspired by the power of simplicity and natural elements. Today, her pieces are represented in medical practices, offices, showrooms, and private collections across the world — including the United States, Australia, England, Sweden, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Austria, and Germany.

"All art should inspire and evoke emotions. Art should be something you can actually feel."
